MEDIATOR

Mariam Zadeh

Mariam Zadeh, a native New Yorker and active trial attorney, relocated her litigation practice to Los Angeles in 2001, at which time she obtained her L.L.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University, and became a partner with Jeffrey Krivis. As trial counsel, Mariam spent over a decade handling a variety of litigated disputes in California, New York and New Jersey, practicing for both the plaintiff and defense bar. She specializes in mediating employment, class action, life, health and disability, catastrophic personal injury and commercial matters.

Ms. Zadeh has served on the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Mediators as well as on The Board of Directors of the California Dispute Resolution Council. She has been consistently featured since 2007 as a SuperLawyer in Southern California Super Lawyers magazine and since 2010 in the Best Lawyers in America for her steadfast commitment to achieving equitable results, her personal concern for the parties and her persistence and willingness to work at all hours to attain closure.

Mariam lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children. She is a certified sommelier, avid photographer, and enjoys skiing and hiking with her family when in Telluride, Colorado, where they maintain a second home.

Sonia Dalton

Sonia Patel Dalton provides executive case management services to Mariam Zadeh Mediation.

She entered the ADR field over 22 years ago, having held Manager Positions at JAMS—the nation’s largest ADR firm and later spearheading the development and launch of a boutique dispute resolution firm, PMA Dispute Resolution.

Having successfully launched a new firm coupled with her history and understanding of what it takes to run successful ADR practices she brings a seasoned perspective and seamless and effective case management to Mariam Zadeh Mediation.
